Hello all, I've just added/updated a couple of small sections to the Fusion course to explain and include the new parametric text functionality that Autodesk added to Fusion! This is a feature that I've wanted for a VERY long time, so it's a welcome addition!
In fact, because it was added, I was able to create my first plugin for Fusion, called
Vx - Smart Versioning Parameter
Here's how it works...
This add-in automatically creates and maintains a version_number text parameter in your Autodesk® Fusion® designs. The parameter updates every time you save your file, keeping track of your design versions (v1, v2, v3, etc.).
This is perfect for maintaining embedded version numbers in your sketches as well as in your bodies. For example, if you manufacture parts, the design can integrate the version number into it's geometry for detailed version control.

Now, if you've already been through the course, and are sailing along in Fusion, you DO NOT need to go through the new course (unless you just want to brush up).
The lessons are reshot, and update to match the Fusion updates.
